TAKING SERVICES CLOSER TO KENYANS- FRANCISTOWN CONSULAR CAMP 9TH FEBRUARY 2019

IMG 0724The High Commission conducted a Consular Camp in Francistown on 9th February 2019 at Tati River Lodge which culminated in a dinner hosted by H.E. (Hon) Mohamed Shidiye, High Commissioner of the Republic of Kenya to Botswana.

Over forty Kenyans residing in Francistown and its environs turned up for the event. The High Commissioner in his address to them reiterated his commitment to advancing the interests of Kenya and serving Kenyans. Diaspora have been hailed as an important component of Kenya’s development agenda and a leading foreign income earner. Amb. Shidiye encouraged the diapora to abide by the laws of the host country and portray a positive image of themselves and Kenya.

Dr. Paul Sidandi, speaking on behalf of Kenyans in Francistown welcomed the move by the High Commission to bring services closer to them and hoped that it will be a continuous exercise.
